An exciting and innovative new play is set to woo audiences in Brussels this summer
Following a critically acclaimed run in London, Bridge Theatre is bringing to Brussels a brand new production of 855-FOR-TRUTH by Eva Hudson this June.
Set somewhere between Hilldale, Utah and the end of the world, this striking new play follows an 18-year-old cult member and a young climate scientist as their worlds collide in the woods.
As Meredith prepares for the apocalypse and Isaac races to save the planet, boundaries blur between faith, science, and survival.
Described as “tender, unsettling and bitingly funny”, 855-FOR-TRUTH explores our urge to fix the world—and each other—while asking what we are willing to believe when everything feels like it is falling apart.
855-FOR-TRUTH will run for just two weeks: 2 June – 14 June at a unique venue near Porte de Namur; a beautiful wooden events space that was formerly the headquarters of RTBF and part of the Conservatoire.
855-FOR-TRUTH will be directed by Lydia McKinley an award-winning theatre director and dramaturg committed to the development and staging of new writing.
Lydia is an award-winning theatre director and dramaturg, working in London & across the South-West.
Joining her creative team will be Ellie Wintour (set designer of our previous productions Radiant Vermin and Grounded), along with Brett Kasza, a Canadian, and Briton Mark Fenton.
