Based in brussels, French artist Annabelle Mingorance-Hyvrier workes with wood and metal to create gigantic lighting sculptures that are frozen in unpredictable poses. “Loulou Des Bois” cuts each sculpture by hand and uses a chainsaw and blowtorch to create the final piece.
“Loulou des bois crafts playful, bright and loving light sculptures, creating a joyful playground within a white and restful universe. Her light sculptures are a moment of calm, when noisy machines stop and create a dancing world of elegant sensuality as the twilight deepens.”
