The Dinosaur Gallery at the Museum in the Parc Cinquantenaire will be the venue for a journey of discovery encompassing a range of food and drink offered under the ‘Sensations’ gastronomic programme offered by the city of Brussels during its Brusselicious year.
It will be a curtain-raise for an extended ‘Sensations’ exhibition, that will run at the Museum until September 2012. The Dinasour Dinner will take place on 15 June and is open to all to have all five senses stimulated at an evening buffet that will include blind tastings and some fantastic gourmet experiences. The programme will also offer at ‘Casino of the Senses’ for those that like a bit of a flutter, and will be be topped off by a fun questionnaire and quite a few surprises.
A further five themed dinners are planned during the 2012 including a medieval Ommegang Dinner (Tuesday 03/07 and Thursday 05/07), and old style Moules-Frites Dinner (Saturday 21/07), a Tin-Tin-esque Comic Book Dinner (Saturday 08/09), a ‘Slow Food’ Dinner (Thursday 20/09) and finally a musical Toots Thielemans Dinner (Thursday 25/09).
