Following a layoff in 2010 to have a baby, Wauters is now back at her top level and currently playing for Valencia in Spain. She has enjoyed earlier spells in the WNBA with Cleveland and New York among other teams.
The 6’5” (194cm) basketball diva from St Niklaas in northern Belgium began playing the game at the age 12 and her international professional basketball career began straight after high school. On the basketball court she wears the No 12 jersey because of her birth date.
