The Limburg-based film company has already had success with productions such as “The Devils Double”, “The Box Collector” and “Suite 16”. It’s next production will be the “Killing Season”, based on a scenario written by  the highly-acclaimed Evan Daugherty, one of the hottest young writers in Hollywood.

Corsan admits it had a bit of luck in acquiring Daugherty’s scenario when it was first offered it. His subsequent scenario was bought by a big Hollywood studio and he has become increasingly sought after.

Killing Season” is the story of an American war veteran that returns from the battlefield to his mountain home. He befriends a European tourist. However, the tourist is in reality a Serbian soldier bent on revenge.

John Travolta was the first to express an interest in the film and he was closely followed by Robert De Niro.

Corsan will produce “Killing Season” in association with the American film company Millennium Films that has produced blockbuster such as “The Expendables”, “Rambo” and “The Black Dahlia”.

The development and post-production of the film will be done in Belgium and Corsan will also be responsible for the sale and marketing of the film.

Filming will commence in January and the film is expected to première sometime next year.
