A new exhibition which showcases the best of Ukrainian arts and crafts has opened in Brussels.

Called “Beauty of Ukraine”, it is an exhibition of traditional iconic art put together by Alona Pygun, a Ukraine national.

Alona, herself a successful model, hails originally from Kyiv, but has lived and worked in Belgium for some years. This is the first time that her work has been exhibited in Brussels.

The exhibition, which has been partly organized by a Brussels-based think tank, the EU-Ukraine Business Council, opened on December 1 and will run until January 15.

The venue is the restaurant Gourmand, Rue de Treves 4, Brussels, a recently opened establishment just a few minutes´ walk from the European Parliament.
