This summer, Leeds Castle in Kent is inviting families to discover the stories of some of history’s most inspiring women with the launch of its brand-new Little People, BIG DREAMS – Inspiring Women Trail.
Running throughout the school holidays from 22 July to 31 August, this unique outdoor experience has been created in partnership with the globally celebrated children’s book series and is included with general admission.
The interactive trail features 12 activity stations celebrating extraordinary women from across history, including Taylor Swift, Mary Earps, Marie Curie, Simone Biles, and Emmeline Pankhurst. Children can test their football skills in a penalty shootout, explore hands-on science experiments, make music and create their own rallying chants, bringing the stories of these trailblazing women to life through fun and imaginative activities.
Leeds Castle has been shaped by remarkable women for more than 900 years, from medieval queens to Lady Baillie, making it the perfect setting for a trail celebrating courage, creativity and ambition. Designed to inspire the next generation of dreamers, the Little People, BIG DREAMS trail offers families an unforgettable summer day out where history, storytelling and adventure collide.

Leeds Castle’s Kids Stay Free offer is available during the summer holidays for stays in the historic Maiden’s Tower or the charming Stable Courtyard accommodation. Set within 550 acres of stunning Kentish countryside, Leeds Castle’s on-site accommodation combines modern conveniences with characterful touches that all the family will enjoy.
Maiden’s Tower at Leeds Castle offers a memorable stay in a five-star 16th century property located adjacent to the Castle. With beautifully designed bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms and stunning views, it’s a peaceful retreat for all ages. Rumour has it, the Maiden’s Tower was once used by Katherine of Aragon’s Maid of Honours during her wedding to King Henry VIII.
The Stable Courtyard accommodation has individually designed en-suite bedrooms, providing a cosy retreat within the castle grounds.
