Calling all petrol heads.
A new expo at a top Brussels Museum could be just for you.
Fans of motor sport will get the chance, next month, to dive into the rich history of rally racing and admire the vehicles that have forever transformed the World Rally Championship (WRC).
Until April 21 the “Rally Legends – From Dust to Glory” exhibition at Autoworld offers a unique glimpse into a world of speed, technical innovation, and legendary drivers.
You will be able to discover an exceptional collection of iconic rally cars, from the elegant Alpine A110, the very first WRC champion in 1973, to the groundbreaking Audi Quattro, which revolutionized the sport with its all-wheel drive.
You may be amazed by the legendary Lancia Delta HF Integrale, which dominated the rally world for six consecutive years, and admire the unique Lancia Stratos, whose bold design and exceptional performance left a lasting impression.
But rallying is more than just impressive machines.
It is a story of courage, strategy, and unbridled passion.
So, you also get the chance to explore how pioneers shaped the sport, how the notorious Group B cars pushed the limits of speed and safety, and how Belgian drivers have also played a prominent role in the WRC.
A special highlight of the exhibition is the focus on Thierry Neuville, the Belgian rally legend and WRC champion.
Visitors will have the chance to admire not one but three of the cars that propelled him to the top of the world championship: the Citroën C3 WRC, the Ford Fiesta WRC, and the Hyundai i20 WRC.
These cars are not only witnesses to his remarkable career but also embody the innovation and craftsmanship of the WRC.
A museum spokesman said, “This is unique opportunity to experience the icons of rally racing up close and watch the fascinating history of rallies come to life once again.”
