Housing is one of the most urgent challenges in Brussels today.
A key part of the complex puzzle is social housing, a system often discussed but rarely fully understood.
A group called Restless Brussels, which champions the rights of people living in the city, is organising an event which may be of interest to many.
It has invited people to spend an evening with Kevin Opdecam and Sara Van den Eynde from the Société du Logement de la Région de Bruxelles-Capitale (SLRB – BGHM).
An event spokesman said, “Together, we’ll explore how social housing works in Brussels, how new projects are developed, how they’re financed, and what the ongoing political gridlock at the regional level means for the housing crisis.
“This is a chance to ask questions, gain insights, and join an open conversation on a topic that affects all of us living in the city.”
