This year the party highlighted the 30-year relationship between the upmarket outfitter and Grand Prix team racing McLaren. Hugo Boss outfits the entire racing team with a high-tech collection specifically designed to meet the demands of Formula 1 racing.
The party was held at the chic private villa Key Largo, which forms an integral feature of the quay wall of the Cap d’Ail. Some 300 invited guests were in attendance, including the current McLaren Mercedes team drivers Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button, Oscar-winning actor Adrien Brody, the top models Helena Christensen and Karolina Kurkova, Formula 1 officials and executives, as well as members of high society, the media and the business world.
The musical highlight of the evening was an acoustic performance by the pop star Nicole Scherzinger who entertained the crowd with hits like “Don’t Hold Your Breath” and “I Hate This Part.” while guests sipped rosé champagne and martinis, with assorted foods such as tuna carpaccio and fresh oysters.
