Philip’s Biscuits Brings Sweet Summer Treats to Knokke

46

From July 1st, the beloved Belgian biscuit artisan takes over Albertplein with an expanded menu of freshly churned ice cream, Liège waffles, matcha, and a heartwarming charitable mission.

The Belgian coast is getting a major dose of artisanal sweetness this season. Following a wildly successful debut last year, the renowned Philip’s Biscuits is making a triumphant return to Knokke with a completely reimagined summer pop-up.

From July 1st to August 30th, 2026, the iconic brand will transform Albertplein 13 into a vibrant summer sanctuary. Already a household name with permanent boutiques in Antwerp, Mechelen, and Ghent, Philip’s Biscuits is bringing its signature warmth and time-honored baking traditions directly to the heart of Belgium’s premier beach resort.

An Expanded Menu of Summer Indulgences

While purists will still find the brand’s legendary, crispy biscuits baked with real farm butter, this year’s pop-up introduces a vastly expanded menu explicitly designed for sunny days by the sea.

Visitors can look forward to artisanal ice cream churned fresh every single morning, delicate gourmet Ice Pearls (frozen praline treats), premium coffee, and refreshing fruit juices. Adding to the beachside magic, the pop-up will also feature a live baking station serving up warm, golden crêpes and authentic, thick Liège waffles—making it the ultimate pitstop after a day on the sand.

“Knokke perfectly matches the universe of Philip’s Biscuits,” explains Ann Goetgebuer-Painblanc, CEO of the family-run brand. “The resort brings together a wonderful mix of day-trippers, second-home owners, and international tourists. It’s a place where people consciously slow down to enjoy life, which aligns beautifully with our philosophy.”

Curated Collaborations & Wholesome Vibes

Philip’s Biscuits has always believed that a great treat is best enjoyed as part of a wider lifestyle experience. To bring this to life, they have partnered with a selection of premium, like-minded brands to elevate the pop-up far beyond a simple retail shop:

  • Bar Barista & De’Longhi: Serving up elite specialty espresso and coffee pairings.
  • Kiki Kefir & BBody: Offering gut-friendly, wellness-forward refreshments for the health-conscious crowd.
  • Nomige: Bringing an element of premium lifestyle and self-care into the space.

“At Philip’s Biscuits, everything revolves around small moments of joy,” emphasizes General Manager Niki De Wit. “Whether it’s a treat to take home, a beautiful gift, or a quiet moment to savor on the square, that mood is woven into every detail of this summer location.”

Sweet Treats with a Selfless Mission: Supporting KickCancer

Perhaps the most beautiful element of the 2026 pop-up is its continued commitment to social impact. In partnership with Bar Barista and De’Longhi, Philip’s Biscuits will be actively raising funds for KickCancer, the vital Belgian foundation dedicated to funding research and eradicating pediatric cancer.

Throughout the entire two-month run, a direct portion of the pop-up’s proceeds will be donated to the charity. Every single coffee, scoop of morning-churned ice cream, and artisanal waffle enjoyed on the terrace directly contributes to a future free from childhood cancer.
