SOKO Rooftop reopens to the public for its third season. Had a tough day at the office? Need to kick your heels back, enjoy a cocktail and a breathtaking view over la forêt de Soignes? Who doesn’t. Soko Rooftop reopens its doors to the public today, make sure you reserve a place to avoid disappointment.
As the weather turns, it’s time to enjoy the beautiful sunsets – and that means finding what Brussels has to offer in terms of rooftop restaurants. What better way to watch the sun go down? Soko offers one of the most beautiful terraces in Brussels, it reopens its doors today, until the end of September. It’s an ideal place to spend a moment of relaxation with friends after the working day and enjoy a 360° view of the canopy of the forest.
The team behind the Soko concept are four young people from the Horeca and event sectors who together imagined an original concept that brings together all generations: Michael de Kerchove, Thomas Prudhomme, Isabelle Indekeu, Gautier Leclercq.
“Compared to other rooftops, we offer table service, access is only by reservation to avoid customers having to queue to order at the bar,” says Michael de Kerchove, one of the four founders of the place: “Our clientele is between 30 and 60 years old, they are people who want to have a quiet cocktail after work while watching the sunset!”
There are new features for Soko’s third season:
A new food menu specially adapted for aperitifs: Pimientos de Padron, Dimsum, Tataki, Grilled octopus salad, Fernand Obb’s famous shrimp croquettes! And their famous mixed plates.
A new drinks menu with a variety of choices for all cocktail lovers: an ice-cold margarita, as well as new cocktails with southern flavors, a carrot and mango mocktail that will boost vitamin C.
A space dedicated to events: the SOKO+.
An indoor room and its private terrace, an original setting for any type of occasion: corporate events, afterworks with colleagues, a birthday, a cocktail party.
“After this second good season, we wanted to give a new impetus, by completing our offer with Soko+. With its completely removable interior room of 110 m2, it provides a private terrace exclusively dedicated to events, it should undoubtedly appeal to companies eager to create a team building event with their teams. The expansion of the Soko Rooftop can accommodate up to 120 people in a fully equipped lounge/bar that can be adapted to any request,” adds Gautier Leclercq.
Like most trendy places, the Soko is often full. This is why reservations open every 15th of the month for the following month. Time to get this in your diary!
In addition to the superb panoramic view and cocktails, the rooftop has free parking and is very easily accessible by tram 44 which stops at the foot of the tower. So it is better to book your place as soon as possible and in advance to be sure to be able to enjoy the panoramic view.
SOKO ROOFTOP season 2023 is open. Enjoy!
