Thalys connects Brussels to Paris in 1 hour 22 minutes, Cologne and Amsterdam in 1 hour 47 and 1 hour 53 minutes. Tickets are offer is offered by SNCF, SNCB, Deutsche Bahn and Dutch Railways and can be used for travel between January 3 and March 24.
The offer for second class travel in Comfort 2 is €19 to Cologne and €25 one way. Prices for first class Comfort 1 tickets are higher.
Other services to the Alps are popular in the winter months, but it is not clear whether these routes are included in this Christmas promotion.
Since May 2008 all Thalys trains have offered a WiFi connection on board and since earlier this month has offered business travellers the opportunity to book separate sections of its carriages for business meetings.
