Marie, the author’s goddaughter, once received a beautiful dress that twirled as she spun. Standing on a small dry-stone wall in her garden in Gordes, near Avignon, she felt a gust of Mistral wind fill her dress.
In that instant, the idea was born.

Meet the Author: Sophie Chantrenne
Sophie Chantrenne’s story is as colourful as her book.
Born in Belgium, allegedly due to a stork’s navigational mishap, she later “corrected” this geographical accident by living in the United States and Morocco.
Today, she has settled in Provence.
Multi-passionate by nature, Sophie creates spaces, leads art-therapy workshops, paints, and writes. She loves travel, childhood, stories, encounters… and chocolate.
