The City of Brussels and Brussels By Night are launching the second edition of Brussels Open Air Festival, the largest open air festival in the city.
Five iconic locations across Brussels have been selected and entrusted to nine collectives, clubs, labels, and promoters, offering the public a chance to celebrate the richness of the city’s music scene just before the end of summer.
The second edition of Brussels Open Air Festival will take place on Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 2PM to 10PM.
This open-air celebration aims to highlight the diversity, energy, and dynamism of Brussels’ club culture, with the support of the City of Brussels and Brussels By Night.
After bringing together nearly 11,000 attendees in 2024 for its first edition, the festival is establishing itself as a key end-of-summer event.
It highlights the collectives, clubs, labels, and promoters who keep Brussels nightlife alive and vibrant.
A year after club culture was officially recognized as intangible cultural heritage in Brussels, this joint initiative by the City of Brussels and Brussels By Night once again aims to showcase the vitality of the local music scene through a one-of-a kind festival dedicated entirely to open air events.
While Brussels has long been known for the quality of its clubs, it is now also gaining recognition among European cities for its open air experience in the heart of the capital.
With over 10,000 people expected, Brussels Open Air Festival also serves as a platform for a new generation of artists and cultural organizers.
This year’s projects were selected through an open call that received 25 proposals, reviewed by a jury of industry experts, and are receiving support for the planning and production of their events. Each open air is hosted by one or more local structures, bringing together a total of nine key players from the Brussels music scene.
