Brussels venue Kanal is all set to open with a free opening weekend on November 28 and 29.
There will also be ten exhibitions, and a first-ever live season full of dance, performance, music, and film.
The opening weekend features not only exhibitions but also a host of live performances, concerts, DJ sets, films and installations and workshops for children and families.
There will also bce all kinds of activities to discover the new building and the surrounding area.
People can enter and leave Kanal for free all weekend long. However, to visit the exhibitions, it is best to book tickets in advance.
A spokesman for the venue, located at Sq Sainctellete, told this site, “It is a chance to discover dance, film, music, and sound in all its forms, with various festivals and a film club.
“It is an invitation to come together, experiment, and imagine what a museum can be.”
On offer will be everything from A truly immense journey, featuring absolute masterpieces from the Centre Pompidou collection, to solo exhibitions by Otobong Nkanga, Joëlle Tuerlinckx, and Joshua Serafin.
