In her latest travel skiing France article Caroline Dierckx visits a diamond of a ski resort.

Each season, the Village fascinates even more French and international visitors, with its colourful 5* ski-in/ski-out residences, top-of-the-range services, car-free pedestrian streets, pretty shops, varied restaurants and exceptional entertainment. A genuine new art of living in winter sports, Arc 1950 is an experience in its own right.

Savoyard atmosphere in the Village!
Your gaze is magnetized by the view of Mont Blanc, the Aiguille Rouge and the Tarentaise mountains. This cocoon of comfort is built entirely on a huge underground car park, designed for easy parking upon arrival in the resort with direct access to your apartment. Moreover, each residence has its own swimming pool, jacuzzi and fitness room.

Paradiski, the second largest ski area in the world
Snow lovers can take full advantage of the Arcs, Peisey-Vallandry and La Plagne areas with its 425 km of slopes. Beyond the superbly maintained slopes, skiing is possible at all altitudes: from the summit of the Aiguille Rouge at 3226 m to the 1200 m altitude of Villaroger.

Skiing, but not only…
Many other activities await you in the ski area near the Village: cross-country skiing, ski joering, dog sledding, snow scooter, helicopter flight, snowshoeing, snake-gliss descent or on the 3 km of Rodeo Park slopes. You can also recharge your batteries in the heart of the Village, at the Spa Deep Nature Arc 1950. Between thematic caves, counter-current course, hammam, jacuzzi, nail bar and massage cabins facing the Mont Blanc, wellbeing is a way of life here.

Going out in the Village
Discover the Irish pub (Les Belles Pintes) at the mountain Italian bar (Le Chalet de Luigi), with their après-ski concerts indoors or on the terrace, in the more cozy and intimate atmospheres of a wine bar (George’s Wine Bar) or an atypical bar (Wood Bear Café). The multitude of restaurants offer gourmet and generous cuisine, ranging from Savoyard specialties to gourmet dishes. To extend the evening, meet in a refined lounge atmosphere at the O’Chaud. Good to know: the O ’Chaud club offers complete kits (alcohol, thinners, fruit, sugar, and ice cubes) to prepare cocktails in your apartment. All appetizer kits are served in biodegradable packaging. A must!

Enjoy your stay in complete serenity. Pierre & Vacances has implemented the Safety + Charter, a set of reinforced measures in terms of hygiene and protection to guarantee a high level of safety. This Safety + charter is certified by Hygiacare Conseil, an independent body who are experts in health safety.

It’s such a welcoming village that it’s not surprising to see more and more people coming back each year.
