Each February, Brussels becomes a meeting point for art lovers, curious newcomers and seasoned collectors alike. In 2026, one of the city’s most anticipated cultural events returns with renewed energy, global reach and a strong sense of purpose.
From 4 to 8 February 2026, the Affordable Art Fair Brussels will once again take over Tour & Taxis, welcoming visitors to its 17th edition. Known for making contemporary art accessible without compromising on quality, the fair continues to play a central role in Brussels’ cultural calendar.
Making contemporary art accessible to all
Founded in 1999 by Will Ramsay, Affordable Art Fair was created with a clear ambition: to democratise the art world. Today, the fair has grown into a global platform, organising events in 15 cities across four continents, while remaining faithful to its original mission.
The Brussels edition has been a success story since its launch in 2009. Over the years, it has welcomed more than 200,000 visitors and generated over €30 million in art sales. Each year, around 20,000 visitors attend the fair, drawn by its relaxed atmosphere and approachable format.
All artworks on display are by living artists, with prices clearly shown and ranging from approximately €100 to €10,000. This transparency creates a welcoming environment, where first-time buyers and experienced collectors feel equally confident exploring and collecting.

A truly international line-up
For its 2026 edition, Affordable Art Fair Brussels will bring together 91 Belgian and international galleries, presenting works by more than 600 emerging and established artists. Visitors can expect a rich diversity of media, including paintings, photography, sculpture, ceramics, textiles and screen prints.
Alongside strong Belgian representation, galleries from 18 countries will be present, including France, the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, Japan, South Korea and Colombia. This international mix reflects Brussels’ own multicultural identity and reinforces the fair’s global outlook.
Notably, 21 galleries will be joining the Brussels fair for the first time, offering fresh perspectives and new artistic voices. Among the newcomers are HU! (Brussels), Buronzu Gallery (Liège), Lauren Van Middelem Gallery (Knokke), Electron Libre (Paris) and Culto Gallery (Bogotá).

Artist highlights and emerging talent
The 2026 programme places strong emphasis on artistic discovery. Highlights include surreal painter Sacré Fred, whose dreamlike compositions blur the line between digital environments and traditional canvas, and Élodie Antoine, known for her tactile soft sculptures that expand organically into space.
Other artists to watch include Nigerian painter Henry James, whose vibrant work celebrates African culture, and Kyoko Suzuki, whose ceramic practice explores mushrooms as symbols of invisible yet essential forces in nature.
In line with its commitment to supporting young galleries, Affordable Art Fair Brussels has awarded its Emerging Gallery Grant, powered by KBC Brussels, to HU!, a Brussels-based gallery founded in 2024. The grant covers the full cost of the gallery’s participation, reinforcing the fair’s role as a platform for local creative entrepreneurship.
Nature and Connection: the 2026 theme

Each year, the fair is guided by a central theme. In 2026, Nature and Connection takes centre stage. As environmental concerns intensify and daily life becomes increasingly digital, artists are responding by reconnecting with the natural world, both as subject and material.
The theme will unfold through curated displays, immersive installations and participatory projects. Campaign artist Koz Dos will present When the Levee Breaks, a powerful work inspired by the Led Zeppelin song, reflecting on humanity’s fragile relationship with nature. Visitors will also encounter Oasis, a colourful installation by Alfonse, Paul et les autres, transforming the heart of the fair into a space designed for pause, gathering and reflection.
Guidance for new collectors

Affordable Art Fair Brussels continues to prioritise education and accessibility. Returning for its second year, Ask the Art Advisor offers free, one-to-one advice sessions with Brussels-based art advisor Amandine Ickx during public days. Whether visitors are buying their first artwork or refining an existing collection, the service provides practical guidance and confidence.
