On 3rd and 5th July, Brussels will step back 500 years and with the help of 1,400 extras, a whole period of history will come to life for an evening: guardsmen in uniform, standard-bearers, city folk in period costume.
Charles V’s horse-drawn coach will set off at 8 p.m. precisely from Place Royale and make its way to Sablon. The whole procession will then reach the Grand Place, where the festivities will continue until 11 p.m.
