Celebrity gossip: Kim Kardashian, Lady Gaga and Gwyneth Paltrow

Charlie Hunnam recently pulled out of the lead role of Christian Grey in the movie 50 shades of Grey. The studio reported that it was due to his work commitments. But later it was suggested that a low salary (a mere $125,000) and a bad script sent him packing. There was outrage on Twitter at the casting, and now according to Charlie Hunnam on celebrity-gossip.net he didn’t want “the mega fame achieved by fellow thesp Robert Pattinson”.

Thehollywoodgossip.com was more interested in Kim Kardashian‘s new-look. It reports that the 33-year-old reality star who has been “hiding out for weeks due to embarrassment over her post-baby figure” has come out fighting to prove her doubters wrong. The site says: “She has totally done, it, people, and she’s totally shown it off in a sexy new selfie.” The photographic evidence of her slimmed down post-baby body was posted on her Instagram account. Her man Kanye West (they have called their new baby ‘North’…) posted: “Heading home now!”

She lost 70 pounds by following the Atkins Diet. E-news reports that rapper hubby flaunted a t-shirt with a photo of Kim on the front as he sets out on his first solo tour for five years, covering a gruelling 23 cities.

In a related story, the UK’s Mirror tells us that Lady Gaga flashed her bum on Twitter, just as Kim Kardashian has done. The paper commented: “Nobody was complaining when Lady Gaga took to Twitter this week to give fans a peek of her cheeks.”

She also posted a photographic black-and-white love-in with her fans. And in due self-effacing manner gushed: “I love my fans. They make me feel strong every day. They’re the blood in my veins now.”

Meanwhile, elsewhere in Tinsel Town, the latest in Gwyneth Paltrow’s ongoing battle with Vanity Fair graces the New York Post. It claims that the publication is “investigating an alleged affair between the ‘World’s Most Beautiful Woman’ (also allegedly) and Jeffrey Soffer, a real estate developer who owns the high-end Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami and recently wed model Elle Macpherson”.

The article by writer Vanessa Grigoriadis also plans to delve into her “fallout with former friend Madonna as well as her casting couch experiences”.

The feud between Vanity Fair and Paltrow began when she learned that they were planning a why-people-love-to-hate-on-Gwyneth piece. Paltrow promptly emailed her large circle of friends and colleagues, asking them not to talk to the magazine.

Paltrow’s close friends say that she and Jeff have “been just good friends” for a number of years.
