A Brussels hotel has set a laudable New Year resolution: to raise €1m for cancer research.
In 2026, Mix Brussels aims to raise €1million to support the Saint-Luc Foundation in the fight against cancer.
Throughout the year, it will host a series of events to mobilize its community and drive donations.
A spokesman said, “We will contribute ourselves and invite people to do the same.”
The hotel, based on Boulevard Du Souverain 25 · Watermael-Boitsfort, has lined up a series of events to reach its milestone.
The first event, “Run loops for Charity,” will take place on January 18.
This is a 5 km loop where you can run, jog or walk and aim to complete as many laps as you like within 2 hours. Mix will donate €1 for every kilometer covered.
You are free to start the loop from Joule anytime between 10am and 12pm and breaks are allowed between loops are allowed.
A refreshment station awaits at each loop, with water and snacks, while a DJ keeps the energy high throughout the event.
You can give any clothing, shoes or coats at on-site donation boxes, in collaboration with Les Petits Riens and Terre d’Asile.
