Only days remain until the opening night of a Belgian theatre company’s latest production.

The Bridge’ Theatre’s new original production of “855-FOR-TRUTH” by Eva Hudson begins performances on Monday 2 June — and tickets are said to be disappearing fast for this limited run of just 2 weeks.

Set in the woods between Hilldale, Utah and the end of the world, this tender and darkly funny new play follows Meredith, an 18-year-old doomsday believer, and Isaac, a bright-eyed climate activist out to save the planet.

What begins as a clash between two opposing worldviews becomes something far more intimate: a fragile, funny, and deeply human love story.

As Meredith and Isaac let down their guards, they discover something rare — the possibility of trust, risk, and connection in the unlikeliest of places.

The performance runs from 2-14 June at Berger Court, Ixelles (metro: Porte de Namur).

There is also a post show conversation on selected evenings, where climate thinkers, culture-makers, and change agents reflect on the play’s themes in real time.

Meanwhile, the WIIS Brussels will host a happy hour on Thursday, 5 June from 6.30pm.

It is described as “a wonderful opportunity to network, connect, and share meaningful conversations with like-minded individuals within the WIIS community.”

A spokesman said, “Whether you’re looking to expand your professional connections or simply enjoy the evening with fellow members, we encourage people to join us for this special occasion.

“It is an opportunity to mingle with fellow members and friends of WIIS Brussels. Whether you’re a seasoned member or new to our network, everyone is welcome.”

Only 35 spots are available so best to register now to reserve a place.
