EAT BRUSSELS

Our Belgian dining pages visit a regular favourite in the Belgian gastronomic calendar, eat BRUSSELS, drink BORDEAUX.

For the seventh consecutive year, the Brussels-Capital Region and the City of Brussels invite you to Brussels’ culinary festival, eat! BRUSSELS, drink! BORDEAUX. The Bordeaux region will be joining us again this year for the Brussels version of Bordeaux’s Fête le Vin.

For its seventh edition, the festival is giving you a taste of Brussels’ gastronomy. Our fine local chefs let you discover a signature dish from their restaurant.

To increase your enjoyment, the ‘Wine Pass’ tasting passport will give you the opportunity to try being a sommelier and learn about the world of Bordeaux wines.

For Brussels, an international, cosmopolitan city and region, the festival is a great opportunity to publicise and honour the regions, provinces and towns with which we are linked by cooperative agreements. Once again, in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry’s Directorate of Foreign Affairs, we will be honouring our bilateral partners, through their gastronomic delights.

In between tastings, we suggest you try the recreational workshops where you can quench your thirst for good food and good wine.

The gourmet route will once again take place in Brussels Park, in a very “royal” setting.

Among other things, eat! BRUSSELS, the festival of Brussels’ chefs, demonstrates the wide range of culinary delights available in the Region. You can enjoy dozens of different types of cuisine in Brussels. But, by directly inviting worldwide cuisines to Brussels, eat! BRUSSELS intends to broaden this range of cuisines even further and confirm its reputation as a dynamic city-region, one that is open to the world. The Brussels Capital Region has signed 29 cooperation agreements with cities, provinces and regions from all four corners of the globe. These bilateral partners have been invited to participate in an international village where they can present their local specialties and products. The invitation, issued by the Minister of External relations and Brussels International, appealed to 11 of our partners: the cities of Beijing, Lille, Ljubljana, Seoul, Sofia, Xi’an and Kyiv, the Mazowieckie Voivodeship, Szechuan Province, Québec and the Region of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra. A wonderful opportunity for authentic and unique discoveries and new sensations for your taste buds! A gourmet world tour without leaving Brussels. To taste the dish of one of our chef, you will need to use credits. One credit = 1€. One dish = 9 credits. All the dishes are offered at the same price. Discover them on the website…
