An exhibtion of the work of pioneers of automobile photo-journalism will be held at Ets Vanderveken from 9-21 September.

Paul-Henri Cahier (France) who has been photographing Formula 1 racing since he was 15 years. The works of Paul-Henri Cahier are distinguished by unique technical coupled with ongoing research creativity and transcendence. He has traveled the world, shooting men and racing cars and has been published in the most prestigious motorsport journals in the world.
François Flamand (France) has been a photo-journalist for more than 20 years and is one of the most renowned specialists in motorsport photography. His work is characterized above all an incredible versatility. The dunes of Dakar to the Andros Trophy ice, track endurance to paddocks Grand Prix Formula 1, the virtuosity of this extraordinary artist knows no boundaries.
Dennis GRAY (United States) was a regular contributor to On Track magazine between 1968 and 1985, is now a member of the American Auto Racing Writers and Broadcasters Association.
Alberto Martinez (France) spent most of his life driving. He observed through his windshield a world shaped by the speed of the movement stretched, distorted by changing perspectives, lying by scrolling.The work of Alberto revealing the antithesis of the conventional representation of the speed, print speed is no longer represented by the automobile which moves on a fixed landscape background.
George SAITAS (Greece) combines the aesthetics of art photography to the inherent kinetic photojournalism and advertising photography. His compositions meld colors, shapes and design to stimulate emotions and inspire the imagination about the limitless possibilities of expression creative.
Emmanuel “Manu” ZURINI (France) stands out as the standard-bearer of French motorsport in the middle sixties. One of the most talented and most creative photographers of his time. Constantly looking new angles, the unexpected, he brought innovation to his profession.
The exhibition will include many photographs from archives, selected for their technical and artistic qualities, and carefully restored by the ArtSpeedGallery team. Works by artists such as Marcel Aknin, Delourmel André, Georges-Michel Fraichard, Andre Menard, René Pari Sejnost Jean François Tainturier.
