The Mercedes House Brussels, situated on Grand Sablon square in the cultural heart of Brussels, will organise a concert at the end of September in collaboration with Le Festival de Flandre. On the evening of the 26th September, the Brand Centre will welcome celebrated Belgian baroque and contemporary musicians Frank Agsterivbbe and Guido de Neve.

Frank Agsteribbe is a Belgian musician, conductor and keyboardist. After studying at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp, he has played with some of the most famous Flemish baroque ensembles in his search for direct musical expression and music rich in colour and depth. His studies of 17th and 18th century music have enabled him to establish links between the past and the present and between knowledge and expression.

Since his childhood, Guido de Neve has shown exceptional musical talent, and at eleven years old he was admitted to the Royal Conservatory of Brussels as a student. Today he plays three violins: the baroque, classic/romantic and modern versions. Not only a passionate violinist, de Neve is also largely known for his research and restauration of unpublished manuscripts.

The Mercedes House, situated in a building renovated by the architect Jo Crepain, hosts numerous events including jazz and classical music on Thursday and Saturday evenings, and also is home to a collection of permanent art exhibitions.

The price is €15 for an aperitif and the concert, or €75 for an aperitif, the concert and a three-course meal with wine at The Mercedes House’s excellent restaurant, the WY.
