In our festive dining pages we offer more food advice.
This year, with Picard, we push open the door to Father Christmas’s Workshop, this secret place where children’s dreams have always been fulfilled. The atmosphere is obviously magical, delicious and warm. Wooden furniture, nicely decorated trees, gold and red details… This is a wonderful working environment for Santa Claus and his teams! As everyone bustles around, mouthwatering smells kick in. Now is the time to sit down to eat. And it was Picard created the dishes to make this meal a real moment of celebration. Picard selects, dreams… to put on the menu exceptional products, amazing recipes and breathtaking desserts. No doubt, this is a Beau Noël Picard that no one will forget!
CULLY & SULLY: Ireland’s number one soup
Cully & Sully started in 2004 when two childhood friends Cullen Allen (Cully) and Colum O’Sullivan (Sully) decided they needed to bring tasty, healthy and fun food to supermarkets. And so Cully & Sully was born. Both love food and cooking and decided to start with potato pies which they sold to restaurateurs. Then in 2006 they launched a range of soups. Today, Cully & Sully soups are number 1 in Ireland and number 3 in the UK. The range of soups is based on recipes from quality restaurateurs but also on recipes that cradled the childhood of Cully & Sully. Cully & Sully is also the first food company of Irish origin to achieve Bcorp certification. The range of soups are available in Belgium at Delhaize at a price of €2.65 per soup.
Brasserie du Lac
What could be better than a good seafood platter to end this year? And more than anything else, we have to have fun and take advantage of the ‘now’. The Brasserie du Lac offers magnificent seafood platters. Daily arrivals ensure the most beautiful freshness of delicate products. Lobsters, mussels, oysters from Zealand or Brittany, whelks, cakes and more. It must be said that the Brasserie du Lac is a benchmark address in terms of oysters and other shellfish since it operates all year round. Simply order and take away your tailor-made tray. The Brasserie du Lac has also concocted a special festive menu with delicious dishes, with or without seafood.
