Maasmechelen Village: Celebrating two decades in style

Maasmechelen Village is the luxury open-air shopping destination set in beautiful surroundings on the crossroads where Belgium, The Netherlands and Germany meet. And it boasts more than 100 top brands such as Lancel, Bally, Essential Antwerp and adidas. There really is no better destination to go and choose your autumn and winter clothing.

So, they have turned 20, and they had quite the journey to get to this point. From a visit from Elisabeth Hurley, The Sartorialist and Charles Kaisin, to hosting a Michelin-starred restaurant, to installing a permanent VIP lounge for special guests on special occasions.

There is an excellent choice of fine dining, from Le Pain Quotidien to the classy Italian restaurant Giuliano, from Le Petit Belge’s reworking of Belgian cuisine (we particularly recommend the Half Roasted Capon or vegetarian Goat’s Cheese Salad). There are also take away options, including Chez Lulu’s delicious ice-cream and you can buy some chocolates from Belgian master chocolatier Neuhaus to take home.

Why not travel with friends or family and get into the mood early? Check all the ways you can reach the Village here. So join everyone at Maasmechelen Village and help celebrate their birthday – it will be fun all day long!
