New statue of Tintin and Snowy unveiled in Brussels

The statue was unveied in the presence of the scuptor Nat Neujean on the day before the international avant-premiere of the Tintin movie ‘The Adventures of Tintin’ in Brussels. The ‘life-size statue is 1.80 cm high and made of bronze.

Nat Neujean was the first sculptor to turn comic heroes Tintin and Snowy into statues with his first creation undertaken in 1975 at the request of their creator Hergé. A first model of 20 cm was created in 1953. It served as a basic model for toys.
