Had enough of conventional workplaces?

If so then, according to many recent opinion polls, you are not alone because more and more people are yearning to leave behind traditional offices for something a bit different.

And that is where at least one leading provider of flexible and design-led workspaces comes in.

It is called “Clockwise” and it is set to open its second Brussels location, “The Louise by Clockwise”, on 3 November.

The new serviced office and co-working hub introduces a premium, service-focused office model to Avenue Louise, one of the city’s most prestigious business districts.

It also marks the first time the company has opened a second location in the same city, reflecting a growing desire for its distinct offering to Brussels’ business community.

The “Louise by Clockwise” promises to introduce a fresh, high-end service office model to Brussels’ competitive Avenue Louise, distinguishing itself from other established providers.

Targeting premium clients who require an address in such a reputable part of the city, such as legal and corporate finance firms, Clockwise offers a private office experience alongside co-location with these firms’ clients and partners, as well as genuine flexibility and transparency, redefining the flexible workspace sector.

Max Jassogne, Regional Sales Manager, Benelux at Clockwise, told this site, “Our commitment to real flexibility and a tailored service office experience sets Clockwise by the Louise apart, catering to businesses seeking a prestigious, personalized environment.”

The site is close to the Justice Palace, flagship luxury stores, five-star hotels, leading companies, and elegant cafes and just a one-minute walk to the nearest tram stop (Defacqz) and a five-minute walk to the closest metro station (Louise/Louiza).

It is spread across almost 3,350 square metres across two floors in The Louise building and will accommodate more than 300 desks in private offices and shared spaces. Facilities include four fully equipped meeting rooms (each accommodating up to nine guests), versatile event spaces, with access to a modern 150-seat auditorium. For added convenience, there are also showers, an on-site cafeteria, ample parking, and 190 secure bicycle storage spots, complete with charging points for electric bikes.

The co-working space offers two workspace options – dedicated desks and private offices – with a minimum four-desk suite to ensure quality and space remain consistent across the building. Members, therefore, pay for surface area rather than fixed layouts, giving them the flexibility to configure their offices to suit their teams’ needs.

The Louise by Clockwise boasts unparalleled building features, including Belgium’s highest ESG certification, exceptional acoustic design, enhanced privacy, and enterprise-grade IT infrastructure. These differentiators ensure a professional, reliable workspace for discerning clients.

Jassogne added, “The Louise by Clockwise delivers a premium environment with cutting-edge IT, unmatched privacy, and acoustic excellence, creating the ideal setting for businesses to thrive.”

Members will also enjoy access to the lush gardens and outdoor terraces, allowing for an idyllic break away from the hustle and bustle of the city. They also gain from round-the-clock secure access, shared workspace access and a comprehensive calendar of events and networking opportunities, which fosters a trusted professional community.

The launch represents a strategic expansion in Brussels. The Louise complements Clockwise’s first city site at Avenue des Arts 44, which opened in 2022 and has quickly achieved high occupancy with a diverse mix of international companies and start-ups. While Clockwise Brussels attracts a broad entrepreneurial community in the European District, The Louise by Clockwise is designed to serve a similar audience of entrepreneurial and professional clients seeking a premium space on Avenue Louise.

Orsolya Kurucz, co-founder and CEO of ATS Advisory, said: “We decided to move our offices to Arts 44 [Clockwise Brussels] when it was still under construction in early 2021, so we had to trust the pictures to get a sense of what it would eventually look like.

“Of course, we hoped for the best — but the fact that it actually turned out 99% like what the pictures promised was an amazing surprise.

“Later, I launched my own company, ATS Advisory, and there was no question about whether we’d stay or not: we love the place, especially the atmosphere and the mindset of the team.

“Now, we’ve decided to move to The Louise — and we can’t wait, because the place promises to be exceptional.”
