An upcoming seminar aims to debunk some of the myths about setting down roots in Belgium.
The focus of the event later this month is on the housing market.
Buying a property in Belgium as an expatriate can be complex: it’s sometimes hard to know what to look out for, whether it’s assessing the property’s health, determining the budget needed for works, understanding whether planning permission needs to be applied for and how the role of an architect can be useful.
The aim of the seminar is to provide house buyers with the essential technical and architectural keys to successfully completing your property project with complete confidence.
It hopes to guide people through the crucial aspects of the buying process, to help them avoid common pitfalls and make informed choices for their future in Belgium.
The Expat Welcome Desk has organised the webinar (in English) commencing at noon (until 1.30 PM) on 31 March focusing on the following topic: “Buying a property with confidence: the technical and architectural keys to your property project.
Issues to be covered range from buying a property to consulting an architect. It is free to access but you must register before 27 March at 5p via: inscription@commissioner.brussels
