The exhibition will feature his best photographs done in collaboration with the painter Ruben Alterio. The exhibition starts on November 26 and runs until January 22, next year.
The show includes more than 40 photos mostly in a format of 50 X 60 cm and although there are some larger images. This retrospective will feature photographs of some of the most famous super models, such as: Claudia Schiffer, Estelle Lefebure, Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Karen Mulder and Kate Moss. Marc Hispard is part of an elite club fashion photographers, including Peter Lindbergh, Paolo Roversi and Mario Testino.
This retrospective also includes a collaboration between Marc Hispard and the Argentinian painter Ruben Alterio, who produces figures and abstraction in both black and white and the colour. The work is the result of two years of a dialogue between the artists and their respective arts combining photographic work and painting. The photographs are used to produce a narrative by Alterio. Confronted with the hyper photographic realism, Alterio uses screen washing.
