The fundraiser for UNICEF, the United Nation’s Childrens Fund, is to hold the party at the Barrio Café on Place de la Chapelle, St Gilles on Friday. Doors open at 9.30 and it is planned later to hold a Bollywood dance class with qualified dance teacher Lena John Gomez. The evening will continue with music supplied by DJ Didier.

Entrance fee is €10 and all funds will go directly to UNICEF’s emergency work.

The last Bollywood evening, a year ago, was a huge success claim the organisers and demand for the second outing means that this time they found a bigger venue. They expect an enthusiastic turnout once more.

The Expats for UNICEF is a volunteer committee based in Brussels, founded in April 2004 to raise funds and awareness of UNICEF activities and to support any UNICEF-Belgium campaigns targeted at the expatriate community in Brussels. In that time they have raised over €180,000 for UNICEF projects.
