Are you planning to bring a member of your family to Belgium, but are a little confused about the steps to take?
If so, you’re not on your own.
Family reunification is a complex subject, often a source of confusion, because the rules vary so much depending on the situation.
It may depend on the nationality of the person bringing the family and the person being reunited, family ties, residence status or other reasons.
All these factors influence the conditions to be met.
In order to prepare your application as well as possible the Expat Welcome Desk is inviting people with an interest in the issue to take part in its online seminar on family reunification in Belgium.
Whether you are a citizen of the European Union or a third-country national, this webinar aims to provide you with clear and precise information to help you better understand the eligibility conditions, the procedures to follow and the documents to provide.
The webinar (in English) is at 12.00-13.30 on 28 April and will focus on the following topic: “How to bring my family in Belgium?”
This webinar is free to access although you will need to register before 24 April at 4pm via the following email address:
Note that places are limited and there will be no recording of the session.
