Fancy yourself as a public speaker but lack the confidence
Many of us have spent a significant part of our lives preparing for the job market and the workplace.
Studying and honing the particular expertise we think our chosen industries require of us.
One skill is needed across all fields and industries, yet it is often the most overlooked: the ability to command a room using your voice.
Public speaking is a skill like any other that can be trained and developed with the right guidance. That’s what The Bridge Theatre Speeches workshop does, and in English.
It is a 5-week workshop, where you will build on the knowledge base of professional actors and learn the trade secrets on how to always look and sound comfortable on “stage” while conveying your message in a clear and confident manner.
The next course runs from 5 November to 3 December (Thursdays, 18:45 – 21:00).
Meanwhile, the Theatre is about halfway through the run of its made-for-Brussels production of Copenhagen by Michael Frayn and already over 1,000 people have enjoyed this mesmerising and intense play.
Only 12 shows are left for this strictly limited run and tickets are selling fast.
It is described as a one-of-a-kind production directed and designed by Robert Chevara (Vincent River, Frankie & Johnny in the Clair de Lune), starring the captivating Eva Fontaine (Amandaland, BBC), Peter Hald (Bron/Broen – The Bridge, SVT & DR) and Manuel Klein (War Horse, National Theatre).
Here are some viewers’ comments: “Do not miss this excellent thought-provoking show. The performances were outstanding.” – Richard, Audience member.
