This year’s winner 23-year-old Allaine Schaiko works in the ’t Archief bar in the Flemish Brabant city of Leuven. It’s the 16th time that AB InBev has organised the Stella Artois World Draught Master event that is regarded as the unofficial world pint pulling champions.

The participants have to follow the Stella Artois serving ritual that consists of a total of 9 steps as quickly as precisely as possible.

Allaine Schaiko comes from Leuven, the home of Stella Artois.

The Fleming with Syrian roots beat off competition from barmen and women from 21 different countries.

It’s the 7th time (out of 16) that a Belgian has won the world pint-pulling championship. The last Belgian gold medalist was Tommy Goukens in London in 2008.
