Christmas is upon us, the countdown is well and truly underway.

It is at the Chef’s table (Matthias Van Eenoo) that we invite you to begin the festivities and end in style this year. Van Eenoo learnt his trade in Paris at Alain Senderens (Lucas Carton**) alongside Jérome Banctel, at the opening of the Mama Shelter in the team of Alain Senderens, the Opéra Garnier alongside Yann Tanneau and Christophe Aribert, and also to return to Provence at the Mas Candille relay with 1-star Serge Gouloumès.
In 2015, Matthias returned to his Belgian origins by opening the BRUGMANN restaurant at 52-54 avenue Brugmann in Brussels.
His cuisine is fine, innovative, and seasonal. It is inspired by market products and revisits classics with graphic and clean lines. It is a modernized traditional cuisine in which we find certain typical dishes of French cuisine enhanced with an unexpected ingredient. Curiosity and intuition are the key words of Van Eenoo.
On the Christmas menu his style in every sense is on display: the flavours, the locally sourced produce, the beautiful presentation and freshness of his approach. Chestnut, truffle and foie gras are highlighted throughout the menu giving a particularly seasonal touch. There are melt-in-the-mouth scallops made with truffles, the Corrèze veal is delicate and refined; and, the game is from the nearby Ardennes.
The dessert, a sweet treat from Brugmann, brings the final touch of freshness and its aesthetic will please the whole family.
