SEAT is the only company in its sector to create, develop, produce and market cars in Spain. Part of the Volkswagen Group, the multinational is headquartered in Martorell (Barcelona), exporting 83% of its vehicles and is present in 77 countries. In 2012, SEAT recorded a turnover of more than €6bn, with deliveries of 321,000 vehicles. SEAT Group employs more than 14,000 people in its three production centres: Barcelona: Free Zone , El Prat de Llobregat and Martorell.
Like other brands attending the European Motor Show this week in Brussels, it’s essential to put on a show. Tanja Dexters and Laurence Borremans headlined the SEAT show to open this week’s festivities. Tanja is famous in the north of the country for her television appearances, but also for her talents as a model and presenter. Laurence Borremans , from further south in Walloon Brabant was Miss Belgium in 1996 and semi-finalist in Miss World contest . Singer, model and actress Katia Alens provides the artistic direction.
But so much for opening night, the show continues daily with shows featuring famous brands such as Boss, Liu Jo, Filippa K, Twin Set, Supertrash, Madame Supertrash, Replay, Essentiel, Pinko, Caroline Biss, Agent Provocateur, Ambre Babzoe, Oakwood, Adidas, Atos Lombardini, Hale Bob, Enes, La Pomme de Lovely and River Island.
