According to a report in Telecomputer and other media Microsoft’s dominance of the browser market is now threatened by users who prefer to have an option. Most Belgians opt to use at least two browsers while 20% are happy to run even more.

Internet Explorer used to have 95% market share at the beginning of the last decade, but this is now down to 60%.

Firefox has 23% of the market now and Google Chrome, Opera and Apple’s Safari make up the rest.
