La Terrasse d’Orient- a summer escape in the heart of Brussels

Become immersed in an oriental atmosphere. Sip on delicious cocktails and sample authentic food and afternoon tea “In Casablanca”, all without leaving Brussels. La Terrasse d’Orient at the Conrad Brussels offers a summer getaway in the heart of the city.

The terrace was developed to celebrate the colours, flavours, art and music of Morocco while taking visitors on a journey throughout the world of Arabian Nights.

The Moroccan atmosphere is achieved through offering traditional mint tea, freshly squeezed orange juice and Moroccan pastries all made with the finest ingredients. Dinner and cocktails are also offered, including the Boschman. The drink is made with freshly looted mint leaves, limejuice and bark. A dash of cucumber and the sweet green tea infusion, Mao Feng, are thrown in before the drink is energetically shaken and served over crushed ice. This is the must-have drink for summer.

Other aspects of Moroccan culture are also featured on the Terrace. A shisha corner has been set up where guests can enjoy the traditional pipe-to-water declined in a wide variety of flavours.  A group of musicians perform music for the traditional dinners Monday to Saturday and on Sundays for brunch.
