Mercedes
All set for the Stuttgart star! Indeed, there are no fewer than three new developments that now adorn the catalogue – besides the class A, with its redesigned bow, A160 declination and 102 hp as its entry ticket, the GLC class will make you forget the GLK. Interior space and trunk volume have increased and there are three engine styles: a 211 hp petrol and two diesel 170 and 204 hp. Last but not least, the C class Coupé, with a radically different silhouette from its previous incarnation: yippee! A particular pleasure is when the accelerator awakens the 156, 184 and 211 horsepower fuel Eurosuper, with 170 and 204 hp, for those who prefer diesel. For purists, the signature AMG 510 hp delivers. The Class S Convertible carries a high level of elegance, not least with the 455 hp of the S500 running alongside the 585 hp of the AMG 63. And, announced but not confirmed when Together went to press: the new E-Class Saloon, an SLC successor to the SLK, with the GLS taking over the GL and SL.
Porsche
In Stuttgart, the future 911 is the focus of attention. Bye-bye to the famous flat 6 atmo 3.4 and 3.8 litres, which are eclipsed in favour of a new 6-cylinder 3-litre turbo, with 370 horsepower for the Carrera and 50 hp more in the trunk of the Carrera S, which also offers AWD. Also worthy of mention are the new Porsche 911 Carrera 4 and 911 Targa 4, which provide increased performance with refined sobriety.
Rolls Royce
The new convertible Rolls Royce, the Dawn is already imposing itself as a classic. Based on the overall aesthetics of the Wraith, it reaches 5.29 metres with four seats. The soft top disappears in 20 seconds – associated with an 8-speed automatic gearbox, the V12 Bi-turbo 6.6-litre 570 horsepower releases its power to great effect. Despite its 2.6 tonnes, the very, very fast cabrio can reach 250 km/h and goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds.
Volvo
As the second of its kind after 12 years of loyal service, the XC 90 grows but has lost weight, with luxury and overall quality its new masters. All-wheel drive is standard or optional to pass the 190 hp D4, D5 225 hp and 407 T8 on the road. A very nice, large SUV that’s planned for 6-7 people.
