The band have called the event Chazzstock and are inviting many guest musicians including Tony Hadley formerly with 80s popsters Spandau Ballet.
On their website the band said; “We’re celebrating the life of Chazz Haddon, enigmatic front man of Ou Est Le Swimming Pool who sadly took his own life on Friday 20 August 2010 after the bands performance at Belgium’s Pukkelpop Festival. The extremely sad news has shocked friends and family and rocked the music industry due to Chazz’s outgoing personality and the band’s popularity. The World has lost a truly great man.
With some serious heavyweights already confirmed on the bill, Chazzstock is already looking more like a festival than a gig.
One of the band’s most vocal supporters Eddy Temple Morris (XFM) will be hosting the event. He will be joined on the decks by Kissy Sell Oiut(RADIO 1) and New Musical Express’s Mikey Four. alongside performances from Tony Hadley, Frankmusic,The Kooks, Man Like Me, Nat Jenkins, MPHO, Tribes, Daisy Dares You, and many more surprises on the night itself.
