Zara’s entry into online sales has been “satisfactory”, said the company’s parent group Inditex.
The clothes retailer began to sell its products online at the beginning of of this month. For the moment the service is available in six European countries: France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain and UK.
Inditex said there had been “a satisfactory reception”by customers.
Zara plans to launch online selling in Austria, Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg later this year,and wants to extend the platform to US, Canada, South Korea and Japan next year.
