Méribel Les Allues is a ski resort that was developed adjacent to the traditional hamlet of Morel, with its centre situated at about 1400 metres above sea level. The Tarentaise Valley has the biggest concentration of world-class ski resorts in the world. Most well-known neighbour systems are Paradiski (Les Arcs, La Plagne) and Espace Killy (Val-d’Isère and Tignes).
A weekly lift ticket in Méribel/Les Trois Vallées offers a choice to ski one day in each of the other two systems mentioned. There were once plans to interlink all systems and resorts to create the – by far – largest ski area in the world. However, that vision was ended with the creation of the Vanoise National Park.
Cimalpes’ note: “Ideal chalet for a family with 4 children near the slopes of Méribel village. Cozy atmosphere with its large fireplace in the centre of the living room and its outdoor jacuzzi on a terrace facing south and a magnificent view.”
Chalet La Grange 1855: Typically Savoyard with a Bellevilloise signature, Chalet La Grange is the newest addition to the village of Villarabout. La Grange is an authentic chalet mainly composed of wood and stone. Its vast living room offers a large and very bright
living room thanks to a large bay window at the corner of the chalet and allowing you to
see a stunning view over the summit of the Cochet. A beautiful fireplace, made of stone and wood, separates the living room from the dining area, which is composed of a modern kitchen opening onto the dining room.
In this renovated barn, nothing is left to chance. Wrought iron, heavy wool, furniture, screws, all the details are refined and filled with this Savoyard heritage. The grey colours of the furniture combined with the wood of the chalet offer an elegant and cocooning atmosphere. Sophisticated and harmonious shades that bring softness and warmth to these large spaces.
The chalet has five pretty cosy rooms and a sauna where it’s nice to relax in winter. The chalet’s terrace will also allow you to relax while contemplating the panoramic view of the summit of the Roc de la Lune.
